Simon Peterson



Simon has worked as a guide for Dorobo Safaris, specializing in walking safaris in remote wilderness regions such as Ruaha National Park and beyond the boundaries of the Serengeti and Tarangire National Park. He is also engaged in the training of local guides, placing an emphasis onhow to approach potentially dangerous game and general natural history interpretation during walking safaris. His remarkably keen sense of animal behavior and awareness of the complex systems of the natural world guide his passion for an authentic safari experience.

When Simon isn’t busy leading tourists through new territories, he enjoys kite surfing, paragliding, mountain climbing, playing rugby, and above all, fishing.
