Paddle your way through remote parts of Tanzania

Picture
Canoeing and Kayak Safaris are a new product that we have only started offering as of 2019. We offer trips to explore the Ruvuma river which is the southern border between Tanzania and Mozambique. This is a great opportunity to get into some remote miombo environments with great birding and mostly easy going paddling. We run about two of these trips a year so inquire for the next trip that you can join if interested.

The Pangani river is another area that offers great Canoeing. After 1-2 days one makes it all the way to the mouth of the Pangani river and into the Indian Ocean, truly an epic transition from the terrestrial environment to the Marine environment. One can then spend a few days in Pangani enjoying some beautiful beaches, coastal Swahili life and amazing marine life of Maziwe Island.
