Simon Kipuyu

Professional Safari Guide

Growing up as a traditional Maasai Simon spent most of his early years as a heard boy in the bush where he learned allot about wildlife. Simon’s desire to learn forced him to leave his fathers livestock unattended while in school and check on the heard during class breaks against his fathers will. Herding from a young age gave Simon an amazing eye for spotting things usually unnoticed by most, from buffalo hidden in bushes to small forest birds, one of his passions. Simon has been guiding since the late 90’s and has led many walking trips in northern Tanzania. His intimate knowledge of the National Parks and wilderness areas will get guests into the most amazing, out-of-the-way places.
