"Hamisi" Khamisi Fataki

Meet Khamisi: Guiding with a Passion for Birds and Wildlife

Khamisi's journey took flight in 2009 when he embarked on his African Wildlife Management studies at the esteemed College of Tropical Center Institute. Amidst his education, a fervor for bird watching ignited within him, earning him a reputation as the resident bird specialist. His dedication was illuminated in 2016 as he made his mark in the Big Birding Day competition hosted at the Dorobo compound.

Beyond his studies, Khamisi's commitment to avian conservation is exemplified through his role as the Secretary of Attraction Birds Conservation, a testament to his dedication in preserving the diversity of bird species.

In 2017, Khamisi's evolution as a guide commenced, leading diverse safaris spanning photographic and filming ventures, honeymoon escapades, family getaways, and captivating group journeys. In 2022, he found his home with Dorobo, where his guidance extends to cultural immersions and wildlife safaris. Specialized training unveiled Khamisi's affinity for bush walking safari experiences, enriching his repertoire.

Khamisi's infectious happiness, wealth of wildlife experience, and unbridled passion for birding infuse every moment of your safari with brilliance. His narratives resonate, whether weaving captivating stories or unveiling the secrets of rare avian species. With Khamisi as your guide, every step becomes a memory, etching an exceptional safari experience that lingers long after the journey's end.
